Family transportation with ART Executive Services is planned around what parents think about first: the right child seat, space for the stroller and bags, and a chauffeur who tracks your flight and handles the luggage. Request child seats when you book, tell us each child’s age and weight, and we bring the right seat for every child who needs one.
Quick answer
Family transportation with ART includes child seats on request for $20 per seat, per transfer. Infant (rear-facing), forward-facing and booster seats are available; request them in advance with each child’s age and weight. Family rides cover airport pickups, cruise transfers and long-distance trips across South Florida, with help with the luggage at every stop.

Child seats for every age: types and price
Child seats are $20 per seat, per transfer, and need to be requested in advance. Tell us each child’s age and weight when you book so we bring a seat that suits each one.
| Seat type | Usually for | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Infant seat (rear-facing) | Babies and young toddlers who still ride rear-facing | $20 per seat, per transfer |
| Forward-facing seat with harness | Toddlers and preschoolers who have outgrown rear-facing | $20 per seat, per transfer |
| Booster seat | Older children who have outgrown a harness seat | $20 per seat, per transfer |
Seats are matched to the ages and weights you give us. Fares include tolls, and a 20% gratuity is added to the fare.
Car seat taxi in Miami, or a pre-booked car?
If you have searched for a car seat taxi in Miami, you know the worry: you cannot be sure a seat will be in the car when it pulls up. Booking a car service with child seats in Miami ahead of time removes that guesswork, because the seats are part of the reservation.
Florida car seat rules and how seats are fitted
Florida law requires a federally approved child restraint for children age 5 and younger. The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles explains the rules, and NHTSA’s car seat guidance helps you choose between rear-facing, forward-facing and booster seats by age and size.
Your chauffeur sets the seat up in the vehicle before you get in. You know your child best, so check the fit and adjust the harness or straps before you set off, and tell the chauffeur if anything needs changing.
Our rule of thumb
If your child rides in a seat in your own car, book one for ours.
Airport car service with car seats
Family transportation from the airport is easier when the ride is already planned. Give us your flight number and we track the flight. Pickups include 60 minutes of waiting after a domestic arrival and 90 minutes after an international one, counted from the actual arrival, so a long wait at baggage claim or a diaper change does not turn into a rush.
Meet and greet arrangements are confirmed with your quote, and your chauffeur loads the bags and stroller while you settle the children. We cover Miami Airport (MIA) pickups, Fort Lauderdale Airport (FLL) pickups and Palm Beach Airport (DJT, formerly PBI). The airport transportation overview explains how each pickup works.
Strollers, luggage and the right vehicle
Families travel with more than suitcases: a stroller, a travel crib, a diaper bag, a bag of snacks for the drive. Count each of them when you tell us your luggage, along with the number of passengers, so we can recommend a vehicle with room for all of it.
For most family transportation, a luxury SUV is the natural starting point, and larger families or two families traveling together can ask about Sprinter and group transportation. Specific make and model is subject to availability. Luggage capacity varies by bag size and passenger count, so include your number of passengers and bags when you request a quote. The fleet page shows each vehicle class.
Cruise transfers with kids
Embarkation day with children means plenty of bags and a set boarding window, which is where family transportation planned in advance pays off. We drive families from MIA, FLL, hotels and homes to PortMiami and Port Everglades, with the luggage handled at the terminal curb, and pick you up after you disembark. Add child seats for both directions.
Our cruise port transportation page covers timing for both ports and links to the starting fares from each airport.
Long-distance family trips and theme parks
Heading to Orlando’s theme parks, the Florida Keys or Naples? A private car lets you stop when the kids need a break instead of when a schedule says so. Plan comfort breaks and any extra stops when you book; fees for additional stops depend on distance, time and waiting.
Long-distance family transportation is quoted by route: starting rates for Orlando, Key West, Naples and other routes are on the long-distance transportation page. Child seats are added at the same $20 per seat, per transfer.

Frequently asked questions
How much do child seats cost?
Child seats are $20 per seat, per transfer. A family with two children who need seats pays $40 for that transfer, and the charge applies to each transfer you book with seats. Request them in advance with each child’s age and weight so we bring the right ones.
What do you need to know to bring the right child seat?
Each child’s age and weight and, if you know it, whether they ride rear-facing, forward-facing or in a booster at home. That lets us bring a seat that fits. If you are unsure which type your child needs, NHTSA’s car seat guidance is a helpful reference.
Can you take us from the airport straight to the cruise port with child seats?
Yes. Book the transfer from MIA to PortMiami or from FLL to Port Everglades, add your seats, and share your flight number and sailing date. We track the flight, load the luggage and drop you at the terminal curb. The port pages list the starting fares.
Does Florida law require a car seat for my child?
Florida law requires a federally approved child restraint for children age 5 and younger. Rules and recommendations can change, so check the FLHSMV website for current details. Whatever the rule, we recommend booking the same type of seat your child uses in your own car.
Can we make a stop on the way?
Yes, extra stops are available on request. Ask for them when you book, whether it is a grocery run on the way from the airport or a break on a long drive. Fees for additional stops depend on distance, time and waiting, and your quote shows them.
