Accessible transportation with ART Executive Services starts with a conversation about the passenger, not the vehicle. Tell us how the person you are booking for gets around, whether they use a cane, walker or wheelchair, and where they need to be. We plan the ride around that: a pre-booked chauffeur, extra time at the door and the car, and the right vehicle for the trip.

Quick answer

ART provides senior transportation and accessible rides across South Florida with door-to-door assistance, help with ordinary luggage and extra time for getting in and out. Wheelchair-accessible vehicles are arranged in advance through a specialized partner. ART is a private chauffeur service, not an ambulance or non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) provider, and chauffeurs do not provide medical care.

Senior transportation, door to door

Good senior transportation is mostly about time and attention. Your chauffeur comes to the door when the car arrives, walks with the passenger to the vehicle and gives them the time they need to get in, buckle up and settle. Ordinary bags are loaded and unloaded for them at both ends.

Every ride is pre-booked, so nobody stands at the curb waiting for an app to find a driver. The passenger rides in a clean, quiet vehicle with a professional chauffeur, and a son, daughter or caregiver can book on their behalf and stay in touch with us by phone or WhatsApp before and during the ride.

Wheelchair Accessible Transportation in Miami and South Florida

Wheelchair-accessible transportation is arranged in advance through a specialized partner, so the right vehicle is confirmed well before the day of travel. Which vehicle fits depends mostly on one question: can the passenger move from the wheelchair to a car seat on their own?

Passenger’s situationVehicleWhat happens next
Transfers to a seat independently, and the wheelchair foldsA luxury SUV may be suitableWe review the details first; the folded chair travels with the luggage
Stays seated in the wheelchair for the rideADA / lift-equipped vehicleArranged in advance through our specialized partner

An SUV is confirmed for a wheelchair user only after review. Accessible vehicles are arranged in advance, so request them as early as you can.

Medical appointment rides and family visits

Common reasons to book accessible transportation are ordinary but important: a doctor’s appointment, a clinic visit, a trip to see a family member in the hospital, lunch with the grandchildren or a day out.

For medical appointment rides, give us the appointment time and the full address, including the building or entrance if you know it. We plan the pickup so the passenger is not rushed, and the chauffeur walks with them to the entrance. If you would like the car to wait during a long appointment, ask about hourly chauffeur service when you book.

Non-airport pickups include 10 minutes of complimentary waiting. If leaving the house usually takes longer, tell us when you book and we will plan the pickup time around it.

What ART is not: an ambulance or NEMT provider

ART is a private chauffeur service. We are not an ambulance company or a non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) provider, and our chauffeurs are not medical staff. They do not give medical care or monitor a passenger’s health during the ride.

Book an ambulance or NEMT provider instead if the passenger:

If you are unsure which service fits, call us and describe the situation plainly. We would rather point you to the right provider than send the wrong vehicle.

Airport trips for seniors and travelers with limited mobility

Airport days are long for older travelers. Book the ride with the flight number and we track the flight. Pickups include 60 minutes of waiting after a domestic arrival and 90 minutes after an international one, counted from the actual arrival, which leaves room for a slower walk from the gate.

Wheelchair assistance inside the terminal is requested from your airline, ideally when you book the flight. Meet and greet arrangements are confirmed with your quote, and your chauffeur handles the bags at the curb. The airport transportation overview explains pickups at MIA, FLL and Palm Beach Airport (DJT, formerly PBI).

Frequently asked questions

Yes, on request. Wheelchair-accessible vehicles are arranged in advance through a specialized partner. A passenger who stays in the wheelchair during the ride needs an ADA / lift-equipped vehicle. Tell us the date, the addresses and the type of wheelchair as early as you can so we can confirm availability.

Possibly. If they can move from the wheelchair to the seat on their own and the chair folds, a luxury SUV may be suitable after we review the details, and the folded chair travels with the luggage. If they need to stay seated in the chair, we arrange a lift-equipped vehicle instead.

No. ART is a private chauffeur service, not an ambulance or NEMT provider, and chauffeurs do not give medical care. Our accessible transportation suits passengers who can travel as ordinary passengers with extra time and help at the door. For care during the ride, book a medical transportation provider; in an emergency, call 911.

Yes. Include them in your passenger count when you book so we confirm a vehicle with room for everyone. Family members who are not riding can still book on someone’s behalf and stay in touch with us by phone or WhatsApp before and during the trip.

As early as you can, especially for wheelchair-accessible vehicles, which are arranged in advance through our partner. For an SUV ride, allow enough notice for us to review the passenger’s needs and confirm the right vehicle. Your booking is confirmed once we agree the vehicle, price and details with you.
