ART’s South Florida airport car service is planned so you know what happens after you land and exactly when you leave for your flight. This page explains how meet and greet, arrivals, departures, flight tracking and waiting allowances work at every airport we serve. Terminal details and fares live on each airport’s own page, linked below.
Quick answer
Book ahead with your flight number, passengers and bags. We track the flight, and your chauffeur waits 60 minutes after a domestic flight’s actual arrival or 90 minutes after an international one, with meet and greet confirmed in your quote. Departure pickups are planned around your flight, the airport and traffic.

How our South Florida airport car service works
Every airport transportation booking follows the same pattern, from Miami International to a private terminal in Boca Raton. You send the details, we confirm the vehicle, price and plan, and the same team stays reachable by phone or WhatsApp until you’re at your door.
01
Request a quote
Share the airport, flight number, date, passengers, bags and drop-off address.
02
Get it confirmed
A quote request is an inquiry until we confirm the vehicle, price and details.
03
Secure the booking
A card on file holds the reservation and is charged after the ride.
04
Ride
Your chauffeur loads the luggage and drives you straight to your address, with any stops you requested in advance.
Starting fares are published on the Miami airport and Fort Lauderdale airport pages. Palm Beach (DJT) and private aviation transfers are quoted on request.
Meet & Greet
Meet and greet means the hand-off is planned before you fly. You know who is meeting you, where, and how to reach them, so you’re not searching a busy curb with your bags. The meeting point depends on the airport, your terminal and the rules for commercial vehicles, so the arrangement is confirmed with your quote.
01
Ask for it when you book
Include the lead passenger’s name and a mobile number that works in the U.S.
02
Get the meeting point in writing
Your confirmation says where your chauffeur will be.
03
Message us after landing
Text or WhatsApp when you’re off the plane, and again when you have your bags.
04
Walk to the car together
Your chauffeur takes the luggage from there.
Decline offers inside the terminal
If someone in the terminal offers you a ride, say no. Call the number in your confirmation and we’ll guide you to your chauffeur.
Airport Pickups (arrivals)
For an airport pickup, the most useful detail is the correct flight number. With it, we follow your flight and your chauffeur works to the actual arrival time, not the time printed on your ticket.
Complimentary waiting after you land
- Domestic flights: 60 minutes after the actual arrival
- International flights: 90 minutes after the actual arrival, to allow for passport control and customs
- Beyond the allowance, extra waiting is charged in 15-minute steps by vehicle class
Arriving from abroad? You’ll collect your bags before customs, so message us once you’re through. U.S. Customs and Border Protection publishes current guidance for arriving travelers.
What to send with your booking
- Airline and flight number
- Passengers and bags, including oversized items
- Children's ages and weights, if you need child seats
Going straight from the plane to a ship? See how embarkation-day rides work on our cruise port transportation page.
Airport Drop-offs (departures)
Departures run in reverse, and timing matters more. Tell us your airline, departure time and whether you’re checking bags. We plan the pickup time around your flight, the airport, the day and traffic, then confirm it with you.
At a home, hotel or office pickup, the complimentary wait is 10 minutes, so be ready at the door. Your chauffeur loads the bags, drives you to the departures curb for your airline and unloads everything there.
Plans changed? Ask for the new time ideally 3 or more hours before pickup; changes are subject to availability and may change the rate. Our guide on how early to arrive at Miami airport helps you set the time, and TSA lists current screening rules.
Flight Tracking & Delays
Delays are part of flying, and they shouldn’t cost you. We track your flight when you give us the correct flight number, and the allowance starts from the actual arrival time.
An airline delay is not your waiting time
If your flight lands two hours late, the allowance starts when it lands. An airline delay on its own is never counted as customer waiting time.
- Rebooked or missed a connection? Send the new flight number as soon as you have it.
- Diverted? Call or WhatsApp us and we'll work out the next step together.
- Double-check the flight number in your request: a wrong one means we can't follow the flight.
Waiting beyond the allowance is charged per 15 minutes, at a rate set by vehicle class. Full terms are in our Reservation & Cancellation Policy.
Airport guides: MIA, FLL, Palm Beach (DJT) and private aviation
Each airport has its own layout and routes, so each has its own airport transportation page.
Miami International (MIA): the horseshoe terminal, customs timing and starting fares to Brickell, Miami Beach and PortMiami.
Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood (FLL): four terminals, the short run to Port Everglades, and fares south to Miami and north to the Palm Beaches.
Palm Beach Airport (DJT), formerly PBI: what the new code means, plus rides to West Palm Beach, Palm Beach island and Boca Raton.
Private aviation and FBO transfers: Opa-locka (OPF), Fort Lauderdale Executive (FXE), Boca Raton (BCT) and Miami Executive (TMB).
Still choosing a flight? Our MIA vs FLL comparison matches each airport to where you’ll stay.
Vehicles, luggage and child seats
Airport clients usually ride in our black 2026 Chevrolet Suburban RST, set up with captain’s chairs and complimentary chilled Fiji water. Luxury sedans, luxury SUVs and premium SUVs are also available, all in black. Your reservation is for a vehicle class, and an equivalent or upgraded vehicle may be substituted.
Specific make and model is subject to availability. Luggage capacity varies by bag size and passenger count, so include your number of passengers and bags when you request a quote. Compare classes on our fleet page, or keep a large party together with a Sprinter or coach arranged through group transportation.
Child seats are available on request; see family transportation for traveling with kids.

Airport Transportation questions
What is meet and greet at the airport?
It’s a pickup where the meeting point is agreed before you fly, so you know who is meeting you, where and how to reach them. The exact arrangement depends on the airport and its rules for commercial vehicles, so we confirm it with your quote. From there, your chauffeur handles the bags to the car.
How long will my chauffeur wait if my flight is late?
We track your flight when you give us the correct flight number, and the allowance starts when the flight actually arrives. Domestic arrivals include 60 minutes of complimentary waiting and international arrivals include 90 minutes. A late flight on its own is never counted as your waiting time.
Which airports do you serve?
Our South Florida airport car service covers Miami International (MIA), Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood (FLL) and Palm Beach Airport (DJT, formerly PBI), plus private terminals at Opa-locka, Fort Lauderdale Executive, Boca Raton and Miami Executive. Rides can start or end anywhere in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties.
Can I add a stop on the way from the airport?
Yes, if you request it in advance. Fees for additional stops depend on distance, time and waiting, and we confirm them with your quote. For example, you might collect keys from a rental office, drop a colleague at a hotel or pick up groceries on the way home.
Can you take a passenger who uses a wheelchair to the airport?
Yes, with advance notice. Wheelchair-accessible rides are arranged through a specialized partner. If the passenger can transfer independently and the wheelchair folds, an SUV may suit after review. A passenger who stays in the wheelchair needs an ADA lift-equipped vehicle.
