Miami airport transportation with ART means a private car booked before you fly, a chauffeur working to your actual landing time, and a starting fare you can see in advance. This page covers what is specific to MIA: fares by route, where pickups happen in the horseshoe terminal, customs timing for international arrivals, cruise-day rides to PortMiami and the longer runs north.

Quick answer

Book your MIA pickup in advance with your flight number, passengers and bags. Your chauffeur waits up to 60 minutes after a domestic landing and 90 minutes after an international one, loads your luggage and drives you directly to your hotel, home or cruise terminal. Starting fares begin at $120 in a luxury sedan to Brickell, Downtown Miami or Miami Beach, tolls included.

Where your chauffeur meets you at MIA

MIA is one long, horseshoe-shaped terminal with Concourses D through J. Arrivals and baggage claim are on the lower level, and departures are upstairs. Because the building is so long, your concourse matters: include your airline and flight number so the pickup is planned for the right part of the terminal.

Meet and greet is available and confirmed with your quote, along with the exact meeting point. Collect your bags, then text or WhatsApp us; your chauffeur takes the luggage from there. Our Miami airport pickup guide walks through the route from gate to curb.

How meet and greet, tracking and waiting allowances work at every airport is explained once, on our airport transportation overview.

Waiting time and customs at MIA

Every Miami airport transportation booking includes 60 minutes of complimentary waiting after a domestic flight’s actual arrival and 90 minutes after an international one. The clock starts when the plane lands, so a late flight doesn’t use it up. See flight tracking and delays for the details.

International passengers collect their bags before clearing U.S. customs, and the wait depends on how many flights land at once. Check current guidance on the Miami International Airport website, and send us a message as you join the customs line.

If customs runs long

Waiting past the allowance is charged per 15 minutes: $20 in a Luxury Sedan, $25 in a Luxury SUV and $30 in a Premium SUV. A quick update from the customs hall helps your chauffeur plan around it.

MIA to PortMiami on cruise day

PortMiami sits on Dodge Island, just off downtown Miami, and MIA is the nearest major airport. Your chauffeur loads the cruise luggage, including carry-ons, and drops you at the curb of your terminal. Tell us your ship or terminal when you book.

Flying in the morning of your sailing? Check your cruise line’s check-in window first, and allow extra time for bags and customs on an international arrival. Fares and timing tips are on Miami Airport to PortMiami. After the cruise, we can collect you at the terminal for your flight home.

Rides north: Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton and the Palm Beaches

Miami airport transportation doesn’t stop at the county line. Plenty of travelers land at MIA for the flight schedule, then stay in Broward or Palm Beach County. The ride north follows I-95 or Florida’s Turnpike, with the route and pickup time planned around the hour and traffic.

From MIA we drive to Fort Lauderdale and Las Olas, Boca Raton and Mizner Park, and West Palm Beach and Palm Beach island. Staying near Palm Beach? Compare flights into Palm Beach Airport (DJT) too, or read our MIA vs FLL guide.

Flying out of MIA

Miami airport transportation works in both directions. For departures, your chauffeur drops you on the upper departures level, at the doors nearest your airline’s counters, and unloads every bag. Tell us your airline, flight time and whether you’re checking luggage, and we’ll set the pickup time with you.

Lines at MIA move in waves, so leave a cushion. Our guide on how early to arrive at Miami airport works backward from your departure time to the moment you leave your door.

Choosing a vehicle for MIA

A Miami airport car service is only as comfortable as the space for your bags. Our primary car is a black 2026 Chevrolet Suburban RST, with a starlight headliner overhead and complimentary chilled Fiji water waiting in the cabin. Luxury sedans suit lighter travelers, and premium SUVs are quoted on request.

Looking for a limo service Miami airport arrivals can book at a set starting fare? For most trips that’s a black SUV, and stretch limousines are arranged on request. Your passenger and bag count decides the class; capacities are listed on our fleet page.

Miami Airport (MIA) questions

Your airline and flight number, the date, your drop-off address, the number of passengers and the number of bags. Add children’s ages if you need child seats, plus any stops on the way. We confirm the vehicle, price and meeting arrangements before the booking is final.

Yes. The fares in the table apply in either direction, so a ride from Brickell to MIA starts at the same price as MIA to Brickell. Your final fare depends on the exact address, date, pickup time and availability, and it always includes tolls.

Yes. Starting fares are $125 in a Luxury Sedan and $150 in a Luxury SUV. Check your cruise line’s check-in window before choosing a flight, especially if you’re landing internationally on the morning of your sailing, since bags and customs come first.

Child seats are $20 per seat, per transfer, so two seats on a round trip come to $80 in total. Request them in advance and tell us each child’s age and weight so we bring the right seat for each child.

Pick the airport closest to where you’ll stay. MIA is usually nearer for Brickell, Miami Beach, Coral Gables and PortMiami, while FLL suits Fort Lauderdale and Port Everglades. Compare the full trip cost, including the ride: MIA to Fort Lauderdale starts at $150 in a sedan.

Yes. Give us the traveler’s name, a mobile number that works in the U.S. and their flight details, and we’ll keep both of you updated by phone or WhatsApp. Hotels, concierge teams and assistants can book this way for guests.
