Fort Lauderdale airport transportation with ART covers the trips people take most from FLL: the short hop to a cruise ship at Port Everglades, the ride south to Miami, and the run north to Boca Raton and the Palm Beaches. Below you’ll find starting fares, how pickups work across Terminals 1 to 4, and when a private car makes more sense than a train or rideshare.

Quick answer

Book your FLL transfer in advance with your airline, flight number, passengers and bags. Once we have the flight number we follow it, and the complimentary wait is 60 minutes after a domestic arrival or 90 after an international one. Starting fares begin at $100 to Port Everglades and $150 to Brickell or Downtown Miami in a luxury sedan, with tolls included.

Staying close by, in Las Olas, at a beach hotel, in Hollywood or Hallandale Beach? Those rides are quoted by address, and our Fort Lauderdale limo service page covers local trips once you’ve arrived.

Terminals 1 to 4: where your FLL pickup happens

FLL has four terminals, numbered 1 to 4, each with its own baggage claim on the lower level. Airlines move between terminals from time to time, so the airline and flight number in your booking matter more than a terminal printed on an old itinerary. The Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport site shows current terminal information.

Want to be met rather than meet the car? Meet and greet can be arranged, and your quote spells out where your chauffeur will be. Collect your bags, message us, and stay on the lower level instead of heading up to departures. Our FLL terminals guide lists which airlines usually use which terminal.

International flights clear immigration and customs before you reach the curb, which is why the complimentary wait is 90 minutes after an international arrival and 60 after a domestic one. Tracking and delays work the same way at every airport; see the airport transportation overview.

FLL to Port Everglades: the short cruise run

Port Everglades is a short drive from FLL, which makes it the shortest route in the fare table. Booking a private airport transfer Fort Lauderdale to Port Everglades keeps your group and your cruise luggage together in one car, with no shuttle line at either end.

Flying home after the cruise? Book the return at the same time and we’ll plan the terminal pickup for disembarkation day. Both directions are covered on FLL to Port Everglades.

FLL to Miami: train, rideshare or private car

Plenty of Miami visitors fly into FLL for the schedule or the fare. Trains, buses and rideshare all link the two cities, and they work well for a solo traveler with a carry-on. With a family, cruise bags or a late arrival, transfers and pickup zones add up quickly.

A private car goes door to door: from $150 to Brickell or Downtown Miami and from $155 to Miami Beach in a luxury sedan. Heading only as far as Aventura or Sunny Isles Beach, the ride starts at $120. We compare every option in Fort Lauderdale airport to Miami.

North to Boca Raton and the Palm Beaches

For south Palm Beach County, particularly Boca Raton and Delray Beach, Fort Lauderdale airport transportation is a practical alternative to flying into Palm Beach Airport (DJT). The drive north uses I-95 or Florida’s Turnpike, whichever suits the hour.

Starting fares run from $140 to Boca Raton and $220 to West Palm Beach in a luxury sedan. If Palm Beach is your base, compare flights into Palm Beach Airport (DJT) as well, and see Boca Raton limo service for local rides.

FLL car service for departures and groups

Leaving from FLL, you’ll be dropped at the departures curb on the upper level of your airline’s terminal, bags unloaded at the door. On cruise weekends, check-in and security lines can build, so check your airline’s bag cutoff and leave a cushion. Tell us your airline and we’ll agree the pickup time with you.

Want a Fort Lauderdale airport limo for a celebration, or one booking for a whole group? A stretch limousine, Sprinter or coach can be arranged for the occasion; see group transportation. Our black SUVs and sedans are on the fleet page.

Fort Lauderdale Airport (FLL) questions

It depends on your airline, and assignments change. Check your airline app or the airport website before you fly, and include your flight number in the booking. We track the flight, so your chauffeur works from the actual arrival time, not the original schedule.

Starting fares are $100 in a Luxury Sedan and $125 in a Luxury SUV, with Premium SUVs quoted on request. Fares include tolls, and a 20% gratuity is added. The same starting fare applies from the port back to the airport after your cruise.

Up to 60 minutes after a domestic flight’s actual arrival and 90 minutes after an international one, and an airline delay on its own never counts against you. Extra time beyond that costs $20 per 15 minutes in a Luxury Sedan, $25 in a Luxury SUV and $30 in a Premium SUV.

MIA is usually closer to Miami Beach, but FLL can make sense if the flight is cheaper or better timed. Compare the whole trip: FLL to Miami Beach starts at $155 in a sedan, against $120 from MIA. Our MIA vs FLL guide walks through the trade-offs.

Yes. Book the airport-to-port ride and the port-to-airport return together, with flight numbers for both. For the return, tell us your ship and disembarkation date, and we confirm the pickup plan with your quote. Fort Lauderdale airport transportation in both directions is priced from the same table.

Yes, at $20 per seat per transfer. Request them in advance with each child’s age and weight so we bring the right seat, and count strollers and car-seat bags with your luggage so the vehicle has room for everything.
