ART Executive Services provides private cruise port transportation to PortMiami and Port Everglades from airports, hotels and homes across Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach. Your chauffeur arrives at the agreed time, loads the luggage and drives you to the curb outside your terminal. When the cruise ends, the ride back is planned around your ship. This page explains how both ports work; fares and port-specific details live on each port’s own page.

Quick answer

Book cruise port transportation in advance and include your cruise line, terminal, sailing date, passengers and bags. Your chauffeur collects you, handles the luggage and drops you at your terminal curb, with the pickup time planned around your cruise line’s check-in window. After the cruise, we plan your pickup around the ship’s return and stay in touch by phone or WhatsApp until you are in the car.

PortMiami or Port Everglades: where are you sailing from?

PortMiami, downtown Miami

PortMiami sits on Dodge Island in Biscayne Bay, just off downtown Miami. It is the natural port if you land at MIA or stay in Brickell, Downtown or Miami Beach. Terminals are identified by letters, and your cruise line assigns yours. Our PortMiami transportation page has starting fares and terminal tips, including the ride from Miami Airport to PortMiami.

Port Everglades, Fort Lauderdale

Port Everglades is in Fort Lauderdale, a short drive from FLL. Its cruise terminals are numbered, and there are security checkpoints at the port entrances. The Port Everglades transportation page lists fares and covers the transfer from Fort Lauderdale Airport to Port Everglades. Our Port Everglades terminal map guide explains the layout before you go.

Flying into one airport, sailing from the other?

That works. MIA to Port Everglades or FLL to PortMiami is a longer ride across county lines, so we build the extra distance into your pickup time and your quote.

How cruise port transportation works on sailing day

01

Send your sailing details

Share your cruise line, ship, terminal, sailing date, pickup address, passengers and bags when you request a quote.

02

We confirm the ride

We confirm the vehicle, price and pickup time; until we do, your request is an inquiry, not a reservation.

03

Your chauffeur arrives

Your chauffeur arrives at the agreed time, loads every bag and keeps you posted by phone or WhatsApp.

04

Curbside at your terminal

You step out at the terminal curb, where port porters usually take tagged bags before you check in.

Your cruise line sets the check-in window, not the port, and it is printed on your boarding documents. We plan the pickup time back from that window, allowing for traffic, the day of the week and how far you are coming. Arriving well before your window often means waiting outside the terminal, so earlier is not always better.

Luggage, documents and the terminal curb

Cruise bags are bigger than airport bags: formal wear, snorkel gear and a week of everything else. Tell us how many bags you have and roughly how big, plus any strollers, car seats or a folding wheelchair. We match the vehicle to the load, and our fleet page shows each vehicle class.

Pickups when your cruise ends

Disembarkation moves at the ship’s pace. Guests leave in groups, collect their bags and clear U.S. Customs and Border Protection before they exit the terminal. For some passengers that is quick; for others it takes much longer. So we plan around your ship rather than treating the pickup like a fixed appointment.

Send us your ship’s name, its scheduled return and your disembarkation time or group if you have one. We set the pickup accordingly, stay reachable by phone and WhatsApp, and you message us once you have your bags. Complimentary waiting and extra waiting follow our Reservation & Cancellation Policy.

Flying home the same day?

Leave a generous gap between disembarkation and your flight. Give us your flight time and we plan the ride to MIA or FLL around both.

Pre-cruise hotel nights and the gap before boarding

Many cruisers fly in the day before so a late flight cannot cost them the ship. Pairing an airport ride with cruise port transportation the next morning is simple: we book both in one request. Brickell, Downtown Miami and Miami Beach hotels suit PortMiami. Hotels around Fort Lauderdale beach, Las Olas and Hollywood suit Port Everglades.

Hotel checkout often comes hours before boarding opens. A lunch stop or a last errand on the way can be arranged when you book; fees for extra stops depend on distance, time and waiting. Hotels and concierge teams can book these transfers for their guests through our hotel and resort transportation service.

Cruise transfers for families, groups and accessible travel

Many cruise transfers South Florida travelers book are for a couple or a family in one vehicle. Larger parties can still ride together: we arrange Sprinters, passenger vans and mini coaches, with passenger and luggage fit confirmed in your quote. See group transportation for those options.

Wheelchair-accessible rides are arranged in advance through a specialized partner. If a passenger can transfer independently and the wheelchair folds, an SUV may suit after review; a passenger who stays in the wheelchair needs an ADA lift-equipped vehicle. Details are on our accessible transportation page.

What to include in your cruise port transportation request

Port rules and terminal assignments come from the ports and cruise lines, and they can change. Check the official PortMiami or Port Everglades website before you travel, and follow the times in your cruise documents.

It often does, and we plan for that. Message us when you have your bags and are leaving the terminal, and your chauffeur meets you at the agreed pickup point. Complimentary waiting and any extra waiting follow our Reservation & Cancellation Policy.
